What is a School Supply Fundraiser anyway?
A school supply fundraiser takes the pain out of school supply shopping by letting you order your student's supplies in one easy transaction. No more VERY crowded big box store supply aisles (while wearing face masks), no more running from store to store to find the 8 pack of washable original color markers, no more wasting precious summer hours keeping track of what has been purchased, and no more hauling a 15 pound box of supplies into the school come August!
How do I know what supplies to order?
That is the beauty of this system - you only need to know your student's grade in August of 2021! Teacher Tailored, the school, and the PTA worked together to get next year's school supply lists ready and made into pre-grouped packages by grade. All you do is head to the website, enter our school code, and add the kits for the grade(s) that you need!
Can I choose the items that go in my kit?
No, that is why this is such an easy process. There are no choices to be made. Your student's teachers assembled their required supply list and provided it to the PTA and Teacher Tailored who built the kits for you. Just select the grade, type in your student's name, add to cart, and purchase!
Are these name brand supplies?
Yes! As you can see in the example kit above, the items are brand name just like you would buy at the store for yourself! Once you click on the grade that you need, you will be able to see the exact list of supplies that you will receive, including brand names.
Do the supplies come to my house?
Nope! The supply kits are packaged individually (by student) and delivered to the school over the summer. See the example image above. Volunteers from the school and the PTA will sort the kits and deliver them right to your student's homeroom and you don't have to do a thing!
How does my student get their supplies?
When the kits arrive at Ballantyne Elementary they will be individually boxed with your student's name on it (you enter the name when purchasing). The individual kits will then be sorted, delivered to the appropriate homerooms, and will be waiting for your student on the first day of school!
How can I label my supplies if they do not come to my house?
Included with each kit is a personalized set of labels that will be used to identify your student's supplies!
How much do the kits cost?
Each grade's kit will be a different price depending on the type and quantity of supplies required. Please see the school's ordering website for specific grade pricing and the list of supplies to come in each kit.
How is this a fundraiser for the school?
Although the supply kits are very competitively priced to the amount you would spend buying supplies in a store, Teacher Tailored gives Ballantyne Elementary 10% of the purchases back as a fundraiser to help enrich our school!
I am not sure if I want to use this service, can I decide closer to school starting?
No, unfortunately due to the time it takes to package each child's kit and send it to the school (in time for us to sort and deliver to classrooms) ALL orders must be placed by June 18th. There are no orders accepted after this date.
Can I change my mind after ordering?
No, all orders are final and there are no returns or refunds on purchased kits.
What if my family moves?
Since the kits are packaged by student, it is yours to keep. You would simply pick up the kit from the school, after it is delivered, and take it with you to your new school to use there.
